Monday’s meeting was another constructive one into the format of meetings moving forward and it was agreed that every second meeting would be a guest speaker and each alternate would be for committee/portfolio reports and breaking into committees to work on projects. Each board member will give a brief report on the current projects they are working on, members will be able to ask questions and suggest further projects.
I am urgently seeking a “speaker seeker” because Mark Warr has resigned from the position and we have nothing booked for our upcoming meetings. This week our speakers will be fellow members Angelo and Sue inspiring us with tales of their trip through Scandinavia, Europe and the Middle East.
Please let me know if you are willing to volunteer to assist with the speaker seeker role?

LAST MONDAY's Meeting - July 17th.
Adopting our new Club format, every other week we will be having a Club discussion on our current activities.
Discussion last week concentrated on Membership
the main focus of Monday's meeting was a group discussion on membership and ideas to improve.Of our 35 members,we only have 20 active members, and like our meeting on Monday,we had only 13 attend. So the discussion was around how do we improve our meeting attendance, and how do we get more active members.
Ideas discussed include, a questionnaire to all members on why our participation level is down and what needs to be done to improve the situation.
