PRESIDENT'S COLUMN

Hello, Members and our Rotary Friends receiving this eBulletin.
 
As your new President I present my Board of Directors for 2022-23.
I am pleased to announce that our latest Bunnings BBQ, manned by 12 Rotarians and volunteers last Saturday, earned a net profit of approx' $1,400.  Remember these BBQs are our main source of income throughout the year.  So a great start to my Year.
Another important income earner for our Club is our Melbourne Cup Trifecta Tickets.  We are now producing sets of Trifecta tickets for this years Melbourne Cup.  A set of tickets (2024 per set) collect $2 per ticket.  To order these income-producing tickets for your Club, please complete this order form!
 

 
Our next meeting will be on Monday 11th July for lunch at the Union Hotel, Nth Sydney at 12.30pm.
 
Covid is still around in our community, so stay safe, be careful, wear your mask!

President's Extra Message
 
July's theme is Rotary Leadership Month!
 
This month's theme is "New Leadership Month."  Rotary brings community leaders together who have a common characteristic: the desire to serve.  As leaders we have a responsibility to our community, local and globally, to place service above self to make the world a better place.
July is the start of new Rotary officers' year of service.   Congratulations and all the best to the new Board team!
 

Our next meeting is on Monday, the 11th July 2022 at the Union hotel (Cnr Pacific Highway & West St, North Sydney) at 12.30pm for lunch.

 
 
We have returned to every 2nd week via Zoom.  But, from 25th July 2022 every  fourth meeting will be an Evening Social at the Union Hotel 6.30pm for 7pm start.  All are welcome!  Click on 'Links' above right!

A Great night was had by all at our Presidents Changeover, 27th June 2022, and Pride of Workmanship Awards, and an Induction of our new Member Kevin!  We all wish Kevin a happy, successful experience as a Rotarian!

Bunnings BBQs
 
Thanks to Bunnings Artarmon, our Club has continued to run BBQs, which are our major fund raiser.  Although exhausting, we all enjoy them!
