Although disappointed at the result of the first World Cup Rugby semi-final, Lyn & I enjoyed our trip to Japan. I recommend it as a country to visit, if you haven’t been there.
Another Thank You to all members who sold Melbourne Trifecta tickets. I’m pleased to announce that Gwen, a patient of Marian’s, has claimed the $1000 prize. After the race she was close to throwing her ticket away, but didn’t, and then was lucky enough to notice that the protest changed the result in her flavour!! Looking forward to seeing the final amount raised next week.
Next week, with most holidays over, we are back to business with a number of key items before Xmas. Board Meeting, AGM & Giving night, as well as kicking off Phoenix House IT lab, D_Cafe & Tree of Joy projects to name just a few.
Looking forward to catching up at the Crows Nest Hotel next Monday.
