PRESIDENT'S COLUMN

Hello, Members and our Rotary Friends receiving this eBulletin.

Another small turnout on Monday(due to numerous people on holidays), but we were pleasantly surprised with a visit from the busy Michael McQueen.

Again reminders , as per Mark's email, I would ask you to consider nominations for Pride of Workmanship and please indicate if you will attend the two meetings mid-may. Monday 15th our visit to CANTEEN - names to Kate , and Tuesday May 23rd our dinner at Northbridge names to Tom.

There will be no Zoom meeting next week, and the Last Monday of the month dinner is replaced by Tuesday 23rd dinner.

Toast: Ross toasted the Rotary-Club of Lisbon

Only key discussion was about the Bunnings BBQs. It was agreed to request 2 BBQs per month , despite the recent pressure to fill the rosters.

Bruce has visited Coles Management, about their issues, and we now have the mobile number of the bakery manager for problems. In fact he will be onsite this Saturday.

News for Members:

- Canteen will provide sandwiches at our visit on May 15th. Attendees to tell Kate please.

- Tom needs numbers for the Kolling dinner @ Northbridge Golf club on May 23rd.

- RI have issued material on how to manager Membership leads. Tom plans a "ring around" of non-active members.

- RI convention(Melbourne) is looking for Volunteers. You don't need to register to volunteer.

- Tom's Sound of Music is 12th - 29th of May. @ Chatswood.

Bunnings BBQs

Thanks to Bunnings Artarmon, our Club has continued to run BBQs, which are our major fund raiser. Although exhausting, we all enjoy them!
