PRESIDENT'S COLUMN
Hello, Members and our Rotary Friends receiving this eBulletin.
My message this week starts with the details of Cyril Clark’s Funeral, to be held this Thursday 4thNov, at the Macquarie Park Crematorium at Noon.  All are welcome.
The Crows Nest Rotary Board of Directors has resolved to creat an annual Cyril Clark Award ie a Bunnings voucher will be presented to an aspiring TAFE Electrical Apprentice, in honour of a ‘Great Man’!
As mentioned last week, Cyril would want us to enthusiastically carry on with our Rotary Service, therefore I continue with my message to you this week;
Last Monday we met on Zoom and discussed our activities up until Christmas.   Our BBQs are back! and we have three social events, starting with our get together on 11th Nov at ‘JIA Home’ restaurant Castlecrag 6.30pm.  All are welcome!
Note; We are going to alternate our meetings, ‘face to face’ one week, and the next week on Zoom.   Next Monday, we meet at the the Union Hotel, corner of West St and Pacific Highway, North Sydney.  Join Us at 12.30pm for lunch!
Enjoy your newfound freedom, but be careful, wear your mask!
Yours in Rotary Service
President Philip

President's Extra Message
Cyril Clark, PHF

Tributes to Cyril continue to be received by the Club, as Cyril was so well known across our Rotary District!
Cyril was a Crows Nest Rotary Club Charter Member, who joined Rotary in 1969, see photo above.
52 years in Rotary, what an achievement!
Cyril Clark’s passing is a great loss to Crows Nest Rotary and the District, and to everyone who knew him, he was the Model Rotarian.
Cyril, we’ll all miss you!
