This is my final message to you as President of your Club! I wish to thank all Club Members for their support during my year as President, it has been both enjoyable and personally enlightening and I consider we together have achieved so much!! Both Board & Non-Board members have been very supportive, and willing to help me when in need.
I wish President Elect Ian, all the very Best for his upcoming year as President and he knows he has my support throughout his year! At the Changeover function on 13th July, when we have completed the handover, I will feel comfortable, leaving you in Ian’s experienced hands. Ian's Presidency is his second time around as President of our great Club! Best Wishes Ian!
More importantly, I personally am looking forward to expressing our achievements at the Changeover dinner, ie at 7pm sharp Monday 13th July at the Northbridge Golf club. We already have 25 acceptances, so please accept or decline the invitation, to enable us to advise the caterer of our numbers. Partners are welcome.
Late news on Wednesday, is that our Bunnings BBQs are restarting! We are booked in for the 1st, 15th and 29th of August 2020, so please watch out for the roster. Funds raised from our BBQs will be greatly appreciated towards Ian’s year!
At our Meeting on the 22nd June 2020 our Speaker was our own Michael McQueen! who confided with us on the subject of 'how to maintain momentum in tough times!
Michael showed us a special U-Tube presentation which he gave to Rotary-UK on maintaining momentum in all aspects of life, including Rotary, in 'Tough Times'. Not unlike today! Click here for his presentation!
Our Club is extremely fortunate to have Michael as a Member! Best Wishes to you Michael, it is a Great Presentation!! And a good reminder to us all about what we focus on, and how we create our own reality by what we focus on.
