PRESIDENT'S COLUMN

Hi everyone,

Tom has spent a few days in hospital with severe pneumonia, but i'm glad to report that he is now home and upto phone calls.

He will miss the conference, but is looking forward to joining us at dinner on Monday 18th.

Tom also apologies for the delay in the member's survey.

I spoke to him today, sending our best wishes, and he send his regards to us all.

Ross is acting president until then.

Kate Riddle toasted the Rotary Club of Kingston, Jamaica

Mark overviewed our key tool of Club Runner.

Club Runner is a specific Rotary Portal supported supported out of Canada. It has many integrated functions including Website management, eBulletin creation, membership data, club documents/photos, email services, speakers/calendar of events, Billing, etc.

Live demonstration, with questions allowed a better understanding of how it runs for the attendees.

Mark is happy to do one on ones and arrange logins for Club runner.

Member news:

- Don't forget to attend the conference if you have booked !

- RLI (leadership) course was attended by Catherine with positive feedback.

- When issued please response to Tom survey on improving member meeting attendance.

- Dues have been issued, please do a direct payment

- Nominations required for Rotary Emergency Services / Volunteers

- ROMAC set target of 32 patience this year which is positive

- Sponsors are sort for Crows Nest Fair in October

- George has arrange for Lindfield Public School to be Sponsored by us for MUNA (Model United Nation Assembly)
