Angel Flight

Rod's first flying experience was in gliders in 1974. At the time it was all he could afford to fly. He has since progressed to small single engine aeroplanes and then on to light twins. Rod joined Angel Flight in 2005and since that time had flown all over NSW either bringing paeengers into Sydney from regional areas or returning them home. These people need to travel to the city for medical assistance that is not available in their own home towns. Mostly we see these people recover from their illness over a number of trips   The service that Angel Flight provides not only includes the Flight but pickup and drop off at the airport to and from the city facility by 'Earth Angels'.  The picture attached show a young girl with her family from. Coffs Harbour who is incredibly relaxed considering she had extremely brittle bones that could break even as she turned in bed.
