, David was born and educated in Auckland. Lived in Wellington NZ, Sydney, Singapore, and Sydney again. Retired from being the Managing Director and Chairman of DIC/ Coates (printing ink manufacturer) in 2009 after 19 years; prior to that 14 years with Taubmans Paints in NZ and Australia.       President of the Australian Paint Manufacturers Association (APMF) 2001 to 2004.     President of the Graphic Art Merchants Association of Australia 2003-2004.     Fellow of the Australian Institute of Co Directors and Fellow of the New Zealand Institute of Chemistry.       David is married to Anne, has 4 children and 7 grandchildren, lives in Killara.    Member of Rotary for 43 years, past president Western Hutt club (NZ) and his present club of Beecroft.   DG D9680 2011-2012.  Involved since on committees in Foundation, Rotary Leadership Institute, Melbourne Zone 8 Institute. Mentor to DG and DGE.  Currently District 9685 Foundation Chair.
